Green tea in the past years has become very popular thanks to its medical advantages. Besides this it is widely used in cosmetics. Green tea has a great amount of antioxidants which help in the fight against free radicals in the organism. As a result it delays the formation of wrinkles and small wrinkles around the eyes and lips. If you consume it regularly it will help you lose weight. On the market there is larger number of products which contain green tea as active ingredient. However if you don’t want to spend money on these products than try the following face masks from green tea which may be made in your home. Before anything else you will need to make some green tea. Cool down the tea and depending on your skin type make a mask.



Oily skin

Rice flour (you may buy it in any store for healthy food) it cures acne, pigmentation and dark spots on the skin. It has the properties of peeling and absorbs extra oil and sebum from the skin. Regular usage of rice flour in the face masks will help you to get healthy and glowing skin.

  • Mix 1 tbsp of rice flour with 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice.
  • Add 2 tbsp of green tea and mix until you get a paste.
  • Put it on your skin and after 20 min wash it with cold water.

 Dry and normal skin

As known, sugar is great peeling because its granules work as micro particles which remove the dead cells and dirt from the skin. It slowly dissolves into the skin leaving it soft and smooth. Sour cream hydrates and moistures the dry skin giving a natural glow.

  • Mix 1 tbsp of sour cream with sugar. For better peeling you may use brown sugar.
  • Add 2 tbsp of green tea.
  • Apply it on the skin and rub gently with circle motions.
  • After 15 min wash it with hot water.


Sensitive skin

Yogurt is rich in proteins, calcium and vitamin D. Due to this it hydrates the skin and fights against acne, removes spots, decreases sun burns and skin pigmentation. Yogurt is mild and releases the skin from irritations which makes him ideal for sensitive skin.

  • Mix 1 tbsp of yogurt and fresh lemon juice.
  • Add 1or 2 tbsp green tea.
  • Put the mask on your face and after 15 min wash it with cold water.

Mask for glowing skin

Mix 2 tbsp of honey with 1 or 2 tbsp green tea.
Mix well these ingredients and apply it on your with cotton pad.
Wash your face with cold water after 15 min. In order to decrease the signs of aging use this mask twice a week.
